English Speech Competition

The English Speech competition is a big event that the school holds once a year.  Every grade had a different subject to discuss.  The kids were given some time to practice and the best candidates were chosen from each class.  The top students had to present in front of the whole school.  The topic for the younger classes was "My Family"  and the older kids had to discuss "Why Science is important."  Each and every student did an amazing job. 



 

Help A Nepalese Family

You may be asking yourself "Why should I help a family that I don't even know, when I have my own family to take care of and my own bills to pay?"   I used to ask myself this same question.  Please keep in mind, some of these families may need assistance with the 3 basic survival needs of food, clothing, and shelter.  My prayers are that you will have an open heart when thinking about those much less fortunate..

Science Fair

Every class participated in the science fair and had to perform a different experiement.  Even the youngest kids in kindergarden gave a presentation on the different types of leaves.   All of the students presenting were very prepared, which made for a great day at the science fair.
