To remember the people of Nepal and to treat them with the love, kindness, and generosity that they show to everyone who has the opportunity to visit their beautiful country. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. However, you would never be able to tell because of the high spirits of the people.
The people of Nepal are full of life, smiles, and generosity. They will open their homes and welcome you into their family. Our goal is to help keep their spirits high, bless them beyond what they could ever imagine, and most importantly, make sure they are aware that their kindness does NOT go unnoticed.

Let us make a few things clear here. The school of Maitidevi is a GREAT school. The teachers are kind-hearted, extremely intelligent, and well-educated. The school has been opened since 1978 and the family that runs the school has a heart of gold.
The children at the school are full of knowledge, have a very high level of English, and are eager to learn. The goal here isn't to change what they are doing or interfere with what is already clearly working. The goal is to make their lives just a little bit easier, provide them with more resources where needed, and assist the families who are struggling to afford to send their children to school.
